AQUA is an AR game run on META II. It tells a story about a tropical fish called Aqua who is afraid of sharks in the very beginning but finally overcomes its inner fear with guest's help.
MODELS & ANIMATION
I made three kinds of background fish and each fish has two different textures.
I made two different types of seaweed with two animations and set their speed randomly in Unity to add more variety to the motion.
Our original idea of the story was that Aqua regards a friendly fish's shadow as a shark's shadow and finally find the truth. We called this fish baby shark. Therefore when I designed the baby shark, I made its outline similar to the shark.
RIGGING & ANIMATION
I rigged Aqua in Maya and created eyelid, eyeball, mouth, body and tail controllers.
There are five animations including swim, wave hand, talk, think and spin.
